In our image, the theme proposed by the competition brings into question the realization of the sheltered, protected, but open place. A veritable “hearth” of the community in full formation in Dumbrava Vlasiei. As such, the first step was to work, rather, with the limit. A boundary that can become, in fact, an opportunity to gather and protect. A parsimonious act, which aims to further emphasize the act of turning the building inwards towards the land. Towards the hearth.
