For this social housing competition we proposed a long thin bar which contains all the four apartaments in the most efficient way possible.The main aspect of the building is the polycarbonate facade in which clear windows are inserted, giving a translucent quality. In this way the sense of the community is created and reinforced. During the night the building begins to shine and becomes a focal point for the entire village.Large communal gardens are both in front and back, allowing the inhabitans to grow their own small crops.
